First of all, I want to thank everyone who joined this event to make this an overall great success, without the the great players on this site of all level of play, none of this would have happened.  I also want to give thanks to Karaiskakis, The Prof, Maxroelofs, and Lt. Jones for their dedicated hard work to help keep this event running even when we had some difficult times.

 

With no further a due, let us give our two finalists Nortrom and Dutch Killers big hearty congratulations for their making it to the finals of our first event.  Both men are worthy players and this will no doubt be a very hard fought battle.

 

As like in the semi finals, they will play the best of 3 matches to determine will have the honor of being our first event winner and take home bragging rights to being one of the best on our site.  Also do not forget the winner of the event will be awarded 7000 battle coins and the loser will go home with 3000 battle coins.  

 

I wish the both of you best of luck and lets the finals begin.  Karaiskakis will give you two gentleman further instructions for your game.

This is the topic where both players must schedule your games between  27 Nov. - 08 Dec. (11.59pm GMT)
Also here the winner must post the screenshot with Victory, after the game.
Additional you can post everything according this game ( preview comments, questions for the committee etc.) and of course you must post here all the needed screenshots if something is against the rules of this tournament.

In the  finals, this will be the best of 3 games played.  The player to have the best record after three games or if won the first two games, will be the tournament champion.  If a game is a draw in the first two games, it will be a draw.  No one will get any points for a drawn game, but if there is a draw on the 3rd game and both players are tied, then the match will continue until someone wins the next game played.  Again all three games or more you play, the winner must show a screen shot.  If a draw happens, then one or both players must still show a screen shot to show the game was played.

Good luck both in the finals. After all the discussions, why isn't this a first to WIN 2 games match? With the rule that in case of a draw there needs to be an immediate rematch. The series hasn't started yet so please do what is best for the game, the players and the way people will look at the tournement (also in the future).

 

The last few days I was contacted by several people who all were very interested joining a future tournement, so let's all get behind this feature and make it the best thing possible. And 2 WINS is a must, and we can still do that now!

I'm willing to alter the rules here for the finals IF BOTH PLAYERS agree to it.  As it stands now the BEST OF 3 games, but if our two players are willing to play first to TWO WINS.  I have no objections.  

 

For future events, we'll go ahead with TWO WINS.  Since we already played BEST OF 3 for this semi finals, it should remain the same unless like I said BOTH PLAYERS agree to TWO WINS.

Nortrom doesn't want a change of rules right now, so it isn't an issue anymore.

I was among the first to talk about two wins but  not change now.

Good luck to both finalists. If you have nothing against showing your setups after the winner will have been declared and if you know how it works (otherwise ask Maxroloefs who seems to be an expert) it would certainly be good if you could film your matches. I'm sure that would be highly interesting to other players as well as for the marketing/advertising of future tournaments.

Of course don't feel this as an obligation, just a humble proposal of a humble startego player, it's all up to you, but think that behind this there is a large worldwide community of stratego players and lovers (as I understand more than 60'000 registered accounts on this site!) that might be following this event.

Anyway do the best, from my point of view this first final shall be recorded and kept in the history on internet.

I suggest the next tournament to get into this in regulations.

Yo, who'll be the tough winner?

Will it be Dutchkillers? 

Will he eat Nortrom as lunch, dinner

or does he get punched quicker?

I think he's KO before he knows it cuz' Nortrom's game is much iller,

the real dutch killer and this final battle will be a bloodfiller,

a rough thriller so the value of watching it would be much chiller! 

Nortrom wins it all, he's the king and in this game, he's the Dutch pillar

who built a legacy worldwide so in the game he's much bigger

and when his gun triggers,....

you'll be dead for sure, it's done, figure...

it out why this dude can't lose and sometimes I think he's a ♥♥♥♥-glitcher! 

Facing Nortrom,...then every vessel in my body is afraid, even my lungs shiver

and the same for Dutchkillers cuz' Nortrom's a lot sicker, enough gifted

to blow his opponent out of the field like a rush-twister!

He causes fatal damage, he's the reason of all the fuzz misters,...

 

 

and that's why Nortrom will be the cup winner!
