Easy guide how to take and upload screenshots

Step 1  HOW TO TAKE

Before start your game open  a window with the program paint and minimize it.

During the game select the moment you want to picture and press the button PrtSc( print screen) usually it is at the top, right to F12.

Open the paint and just paste the screenshot.  If you want be ready for a new one and you have a lot of buffer time you can save the file and create a new one. In case you do not want lose time open a new window with paint.

Step 2  HOW TO UPLOAD

visit the links step by step

http://imageshack.us/  needs registration it is free

http://img199.images...99/954/xhke.jpg Browce into your files to find the file you want upload

http://img196.images...6/6991/wmpb.jpg Select the file and press open. After that press upload.

http://img5.imagesha...5/5451/rm8i.jpg  Now you have your picture in small size .Press continue to image links (it is on the right of the screen).

http://img18.imagesh...8/2233/ac0y.jpg Select the direct link and copy

Paste the direct link to your post in the forum.

You have finished.

Do not forget that in your screenshot you must include all the details that it will be need, like the top with the names, both sidebars with captured pieces and chat if something useful is written.

Another solution is this

For Google Chrome users, there's a plug-in in the Google Web Storehttps://chrome.googl...ahgiakhnjcddpki which will create a screenshot of the full browser screen. It will allow you to just save the browser content to file, which you can then upload. There are very likely similar plug-ins available for Chrome, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera and other browsers.

I use this tool and it is a free , easy and high quality way to take and uplooad very fast screenshots

Hi I want to report Tasosalik as cheater and try to follow the below indicated procedure but it is not possible to paste the links to imageshack. I tried to paste directly the images or the http links  from imageshack or from word but I got a window with a message saying that because of the security of my browser the text cannot be paste and ask to paste again in that window. I paste it there and clicked ok but nothing happened. The system does not allow me to paste the http links to imageschack. Any idea how I shall proceed?

And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the Earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The Sun shall be turned into darkness and the Moon into blood, before the coming great and awesome Day of the Lord

I make some screenshot from some unbehave people but when I try to upload it the answer is that the file is to big.

Is there a easy way to clear this?

Thanks in advance

bullitproof, did you happen to save the file as a bitmap instead of a jpeg?  Bitmaps are huge.  You should be able to open it and save the file as a jpeg file under the "Save as Files of Type" option.

maribo, you're right.  I now see I'm on a trial basis only with imageshack as well.  The Prof uses another service.  Perhaps he post that name here.

I found this to be the easiest:

http://pasteboard.co/

You can drag your screen shot file into the window, click upload, and then paste link they provide directly into a Forum post.

I couldn't get this to work pasting the pasteboard.co link into the image icon in the composition tools just above the posting window here.  I could post it as a link, but not an image, in other words.  Am I missing how to do that?  With imageshack I just pasted the link into the image icon above and it would appear in my post as the image I wanted, not merely the link to the image.  Also, when I'm on pasteboard.co and click "Download Image" it just sits there ane cogitates forever and finally times out.

It's easier to use Greenshot to make screenshots.
Greenshot is open source (free). You can select an area, add arrows and squares, and upload it automatically to Imgur.

Here's what it looks like:
