The limit that this game puts on the number of times a player can move a piece back and forth is not in the rules of Stratego! Furthermore, it creates a disadvantage for the player who's trying to keep his piece away from his opponent's piece. The player trying to attack his opponent's piece frequently moves his piece forward. And then the other player has only a limited number of spaces he can move it back unless he has a path that he can take around the board, which isn't usually the case. And if he moves it from side to side, then he's going to reach the limit before his opponent does.

Learn the two square rule instead of complaining like a real noob.

I remember you from the previous site and seeing to your stats, you haven't made any progress at all.

What a surprise....

What part of "The limit that this game puts on the number of times a player can move a piece back and forth is not in the rules of Stratego" don't you understand? There is no two square rule in Stratego.

Ultrabomb you are on your own with this comment. Trickz is right. Learn how the rule works and it will open you eyes to new ways to play the game.

Well, then why even call it Stratego? If whoever made this site is just going to make up rules, why not call it Bogabogooba?

Football now has 'offside'. This doesnt make it a new game called Dutjope. And it's not just anyone who make up the rules, it's a body that represents the game.

No one person or entity created football. By contrast, Stratego is a game by Milton Bradley.

Yo Ultrabomb,

My god you're a noob...

cuz' you clearly don't know what you're talkin' about so you're lost as a goof! :D

You have a lot to improve

so instead of your lottoin' moves,

you better find out how to trap pieces even if you're not in the mood!

If not, you're a donk in this hood

so if you want to be a Don with the moves,

then stop with the nonsense as dude! ;)

It's time to ponder the truth, it's hauntin' for you

and if you dishonor the rules,

the slaughterin' truth is tauntin' your troops!

By the way, the boxed version? You're wrong, it is true! :D

You say the two square rule is not mentionned?

Honestly noob?

Well, then I have horrible news, I'm sorry for you

cuz' since 2006 the two square rule is mentionned, you wonder the clue?

If you really want it as noob,

then here's the link with the ponderin' proof! ;)

What is your goal? The rule will never change so you have to learn how use it as an advantage or accept that you will never improve. TrickZ keep on rapping. I love it.

Yo Ultrabomb,

No, YOU are terrible dude!

You play like a plant eater but in this game, we have cannibals noob!

They will eat you alive, you're just a prey who serves each day as their animal food!

Why don't you try to become better? It would make sense, understandable news

and maybe one day you will eat some livers with a nice Chianti like Hannibal goof! :D

By the way,...the license of this game is in hands of Jumbo, the actual truth

and Milton Bradley just hires the right to sell this game in the American hoods....and Canada too! ;)

So please quit the cockyness cuz' right now you're way too arrogant dude.

You dismantle the truth cuz' you can't handle it good

and for that reason, I don't want to stand in your shoes!

You really need to grab a chance to improve

cuz' suppose you'd play a German vet,

you gonna face a German Blitz and you'll end up like a flammable Jew! :D

And you can avoid that crap so exploit the trap

with radical moves to get your cashable food!

But right now, your comments are really laughable goof

and based on that, I'd say you have all the symptoms of a classical noob! :D

It's a fair rule as otherwise what do you want  ? To be able to move back and forth forever ?

It does not advantage either attacker or defender .

The advantage is to whichever piece can maintain a diagonal position  so that could be either .

The laws of football were codified by The FA in 1863 and all changes introduced since such as penalties have been adapted from those rules .

Yes there was football before 1863 but there was also Stratego before Milton Bradley.

According to Wikipedia, the modern game of Stratego was originally manufactured in the Netherlands by Jumbo. I don't know if Jumbo's Stratego had a two square rule. But, the two square rule is stupid, anyway. So, even if it did, this site shouldn't.

If you want to change the rules of the game, create your own. Don't come here and tell the players to change it to suit you as we are not in control. It's the owners you should be writing to and they don't read the forum. Good luck with that.

No , if the defender is in a diagonal position then the piece cannot be taken by the attacker.

The 2 square rule will prevent the attacker from constantly moving next to the piece.

So there is no advantage.
