My next new car. Tesla’s Model 3 Already Has 180,000 Reservations

I was hesitant to buy the 75-125k for the Model S and Model X as I don't think cars are worth that much. However, I put down a 1000,00 refundable deposit a year and a half before delivery and I was not alone. I heard that there will be a lottery as to who gets the first new ones. I was going to buy the 2017 Nissan Leaf and it is a nice vehicle, but Tesla is not going to be another DeLorean. What's not to like in getting a 7500.00 tax credit?

I read an article that in the next 4 years there will be 10 million self driving cars on the streets in the US. Almost makes me want to hold out for one of those. Come on Apple and Google. I think Apple recently hired 10k engineers to work on their version. The Tesla 3 has a 215 mile range and goes from 0-60 in six seconds. Charging stations are virtually in every big city and I believe you can now drive from NYC to LA. Tesla also is creating service stations that lower the battery our of your car and replace it with a new one in half the time to fill up a gas ICE vehicle.

The future is closer than you think. Tesla battery change out.

This guy paid $400,000 for the first of the car kind in Singapore, and as usual my money-faced government taxed heavily on it, without any sense

Just a little background so you guys understand. The vehicle/motor industry generate a very substantial portion for the Singapore government, so they will hate tesla.

Remember the railroads? The oil barons are probably hedging their positions. The quicker we switch to all electric cars the sooner the Middle East becomes irrelevant. We don't need coal fire plants as wind and solar are starting to provide us clean electricity. All things come to an end. Remember dial up modems? I would bet some rural areas still have them. A year ago 2 million people were still on AOL dialup. Now most computers don't even have a modem.

The story in Singapore shows how stupid government regulations can be. IMO there was no justification in their actions.

On the menu this week:

1. Who is going to win Masters Division 1?

2. Why did Laughing disappear from the leaderboards?

3. Stratego - does it ruin or enrich your life?

4. What's the highest unit you'd happily lose to discover a marshal, at an even and early stage of the game?

5. Why have there been so few drinks ordered in this cafe?

1. playa1

2. suicide

3. ruin

4. a captain or major, but it depends on the opponent setup. If he is in good defensive position with a central general, then a captain

5. They were poisoned

1. I don't know. How about Sohal.

2. Because his rank finally reflects the shabby skill level he is, and he probably stopped playing himself.

3. Both

4. a captain

5. Not sure, I ordered one. It was good! :D

1. Nortrom or Playa1
2. Probably dipped down to scout some more setups
3.Enrich
4. Happily lose-lieut, but I'll lose a gen if I take a colonel and find the marsh early on.
5. I don't know, but I'll take an Iced Tea!

Losing a Colonel to find the Marshal seems ok to me (as long as you get a Major first)  , especially if you already know the General (and didn't lose a Colonel for that too  )

I'm surprised people worry about losing a Captain to find a Marshal , i don't mind finding bombs with Captains too much

1. That must be me. Second pick would be Sohal too.

2. As he stopped laughing after defeat X he saw no need to stay anymore.

3. Both.

4. That would be a scout. Which is a very high piece for me as I belong to Strategoclub The Scouts.

5. I've looked at the menu but nothing fancies me... maybe add some Dutch beverages.
