Do you mean at 5:00pm EST or are you thinking about picking a time after 5:00pm?

Was a very very long game. Nicely executed moves. Good game Prof.

Yes, at 1 hr. 27 min. it was a long one.  The pressure kept building until you found a way to break through.

Thanks, Midnightguy.  I'm looking forward to March Madness.

Was this game recorded or any of you two wish to detail what happened?   This sounded like was a classic game here.

Well...if you wish to know, it felt like it. An audience would have to determine that. I would be willing to reiterate it if  The Prof started off. At times I felt as though it would never end.

Prof....I was considering a proposal of a draw to redo the match not thinking it would ever end. Even though we had about twelve pieces left a piece it seemed a stale mate for about twenty minutes. I can say I am glad that proposal only stayed a thought worth considering.

Yeah, I didn't want to draw, but I was indecisive about how to break the standoff, so I let you have the initiative.   I think the pressure got to me, with my low buffer time and the unknown pieces you were bringing up.  I missed the obvious move which would have been to just move my marshal back when you brought the spy next to it.  Also, I should have got my colonel over there to help out.  I would have gladly traded the marshal for your general if you gave me the option.

I am sure you would have traded marshals. I wanted to keep the pressure with not allowing a trade but using the square rule in all three lanes even with a disadvantage. This was the last ten minutes of the game of course.

The first 45 minutes was a brutal boxing match. I ended up with info of two colonels two majors and marsh and only down a colonel. He had captain and miner info and was down 1 major, captain, and i think lieutenant.
The next hour was spent by the prof slowly taking advantage of me forgetting a colonel twice , me not knowing his gen and the prof keeping the lanes well occupied with a very strong defense. After about an hour ten i saw what could have been a bad ending for me and thought..." This guy sure is good".
