To help speed up the process of banning an alias for a previously PB'd forum member the MT has passed new language to add on to Article 1.8. This amendment will allow us to PB a known recidivistic member quicker by reducing the number of MT votes needed for a PB from 4 to 3 on members who are clear aliases.
The existing Article is reprinted below with the new part in blue at the bottom.

1.8 Permanent Bans and Permanent Forum Bans: A permanent ban is a never-ending ban from the entire site. That is, from the game and forum both. A permanent forum ban is a never-ending ban from the forum only. Either shall require the vote of at least four moderators, or two-thirds of the Moderator Team should there be more than eight current members. Tie votes will result in no decision and no MT action.

If a permanent ban (or permanent forum ban) vote does not carry, but a normal conviction would, then the MT shall have the option to EITHER send a reminder letter to the player, or REPEAT the previous offense penalty level for the player in question. The only remedy available to a permanent ban or permanent forum ban will be a decision by the Youdagames official representative, Mick Moolhuijsen, though he may or may not decide to look into the case.

In the case of a previously banned member re-appearing under a new alias, only 3 MT votes will be needed to permanently ban that new entity.
