It appears alexsu is closing in on your position in the later screenshots, particularly the one you added later. It's a bit hard to tell with the blocked it information, Although 12 minutes pass on the game clock from the first screen to the last, over 4 minutes of that is due to your own buffer dwindling down and so that time cannot be charged to your opponent. Because it appears he is making progress the MT votes no case here.

Thank you for the review. My scout finds the MTs/GS Lack of faith disturbing though ! It seems player Napo 1s scout is more skilled in MTs eyes.  ;)

Napoleon's scout has only three opponents. Yours has 4. That's the big difference. Napoleon's opponent makes no progress, while yours seems to be making definite progress.

While I put that out their with a dab of humor thank you for the responce. Since I am here and game still down I will add. Making progress to what end GS ?At the time of showing you the MT an extra screen shot showing scout and Sgt they have 2 pieces on their side of the board-- not closing in as you keep stating. 8 min - 13 min my opponent is just chasing moved pieces . The progress you keep alluding to is not happening. I showed in a screen shot my sgt was not blocked in and my scout safe as could be. Do to my opponents concern over my miner they could not do much. So my position is I knew all their pieces they knew only my scout until I moved my miner which they did not know. If the player was closing in -- THEY WERE NOT-- I would trade sgts moving match to 2 pieces to their 3 In Napo 1 video you even question if a piece is bombed in. With them still unable to catch scout and them refusing to test anything or progress the match as the rules state it was up to them too do ! Always interesting how different people view event. Just like Stratego we all have a different view on how to approach a match.

I am adding this for any player that is unsure of the rules on draw refusal --NOT GS or the MT--- I view my case as having issues with my buffer managment that I explained but no evidence-- a video may have helped

3.1.3 Progress/Advancing the Game: As stated above, the burden to advance the game falls on the player refusing the draw after a tie request is made. An attack will often be evidence of this, but not always. For example, lottoing a low-level piece or two in an endgame situation may not be viewed as advancement. On the other hand, not attacking is usually evidence of non-advancement, but again not always. The player steadily pushing a multiple piece army to his opponent's side of the board may still be seen as advancing the game even without yet attacking. In summary, the MT expects to see the player who refuses a draw request to exhibit solid progress after refusing the tie request.

Sorry, Ray. I was in a bit of a rush today. I did observe the humor and responded rather starkly to you. Everybody loves Ray. 🙂

However, to business, another large part of your case was your use of your own buffer. 4:40 of it was used between screenshots. This time cannot be charged to your opponent so that even though there is 12 minutes between screenshots, there's only 7 of that can be charged to your opponent. Since it appears he was making progress in this time the benefit of the doubt has to go to him. Had you allowed him the full 10 minutes, that might have been different.

Reporting ABN (I think this is a pseudonum for "12") for draw refusal on my account Policy. We each had Colonels and he had an open flag at J10.  I offered a draw and he refused and did not advance the game with his other pieces.

Note clock at top right of screenshots shows 11 minutes elapsed between refusals.  Request points added back and penalty assessed.

Since he is a PB'd player, he will be gone soon. Sorry you ran into him. You will get 13 points back for the draw, no problem.

Hi,

I am reporting 'Landdwerg' for draw refusal. He had a 3 luitenant advantage but had to protect his open flag from my scout, so he could not reach my flag neither and the game could not advance. Please find below the screenshots of the 3 draw refusals and the chat conversation where I let him know about the consequences of not accepting the draw.

He did not accept the tie and instead continued moving his 3 liutes over and over again, wasting some buffer from time to time. I would appreciate if you could restore also my points.

Hopes the following link works:

There are three draw requests at 19:27, 19:40 and 19:55

I am reporting Finemaus for draw refusal.

After gaining a significant enough material advantage to be able to lake-block and control lanes, this person just shuffled around and did nothing. At some points his/her pieces were moved up but wouldn't attack. All I could do besides run around the lake would have been to trade marshals and generals which would have been suicide.

This person also only had one miner remaining.

Every once in a rare while (like every 10 minutes) a sergeant might actually attack, but not to the point where it advanced the game.

I warned this person about the draw refusal rules of the site. Didn't seem to care, just wanted to waste time.

Four screenshots in the link below: I offered a draw three times (more than the required two, 10 minutes apart) and then the defeat screen after I at least attempted a (futile) attack after Finemaus refused to advance the game for over 15 minutes.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you have any issues accessing the screenshots, thank you.

A case will be opened.  Very good evidence.  A couple of notes here:  your opponent's name was landdwerg, all in lowercase.  The other is that in your BattleChat message to him you said he needed to advance the game within 10 moves.  It is actually within 10 minutes.

But, again, a case will be opened.   :)

I'm having a hard time seeing the first screenshotted refusal.  Can you clean that one screen up and resubmit it?  It's difficult to make out the graveyards.

Thank you.

I understand your concern Gary, that one did come out much blurrier than the others for some reason.

I've tried to clean it and make it clearer, but not having much luck. :(

This is my best attempt, not much better but a little bit better:   https://imgur.com/a/C6H50mr

My graveyard:

both colonels

all three majors

three captains

three luit

two sarg

one miner

seven scouts

one bomb

Their graveyard:

both colonels

all three majors

two captains

two sarg

four miners

all eight scouts

spy

one bomb

Hope that helps.

I honestly don't care much about my points, actually I couldn't care less, but if this player violated the rules (which I believe they did, correct me if I am wrong) then I hate to see them get away with it. I could have quit out of the game much sooner and not stuck around another 10-15 minutes.

Thank you.

You're right. It's not much better.  There appears to be some changes in the graveyards so that will be taken into account. However,  I will open a case.

Correct, as I said every once in a blue moon a sergeant or something would come up and attack. My argument is that it wasn't progressing the game in a material manner.
