The MT will insert a new two-week penalty level into the penalty schedules for Abusive Behavior in the game (Article 4.2) and also Forum Abuse (Article 5.2). Currently, both of those schedules have a 4 step structure which we will adjust to a 5 step one. The present 1st and 2nd degree penalties will remain the same. But with the insertion of a new 3rd degree (two week ban) penalty into each schedule, the current 3rd and 4th degree penalties will move to being the 4th and 5th degree ones, respectively. We take this action to be able to give a little more consideration to lightweight offenders.

Effective immediately the two new penalty schedules will be:

4.2 Penalty Schedule for Abusive Behavior in Games:

First Offense/Degree A written warning.

Second Offense/Degree A one week ban and a second written warning.

Third Offense/Degree A two week ban and a third written warning.

Fourth Offense/Degree A one-month ban and a fourth written warning.

Fifth Offense/Degree A permanent ban (must comply with 1.8 Permanent Bans), a forum announcement, and a written emailed notice from the admins.

5.2 Penalty Schedule for Abuse in Forum:

First Offense/Degree 1st Warning Point and written warning.

Second Offense/Degree 2nd Warning Point and written warning, plus a one-week ban from the forum.

Third Offense/Degree 3rd Warning Point and written warning, plus a two-week ban from the forum.

Fourth Offense/Degree 4th Warning Point and written warning, plus a one-month ban from the forum.

Fifth Offense/Degree 5th Warning Point, a permanent ban from the forum (must comply with 1.8 Permanent Bans), a forum announcement, and an emailed notice from the admins.
