Discuss any matters regarding the WCO here. Please also report incorrect names (capitals, spaces, etc) here.

Some names have been slightly altered as they would otherwise not display properly. This is especially true for special characters and (spaher, spion... , overlord, napoleon 2eme)

Who’s Jesus_saves in RL? Other than that, surely a very highly ranked game.

I want to do something a little fun. I want to see who has the best predicting power. If anyone wants to participate, send me a PM with the predictions of the results for each round. You can copy and paste the boards and simply highlight the predicted winners at each seat.

I will give one point for a correctly predicted win and two points for a correctly predicted draw. You will receive zero points for any match you incorrectly predict.

I will post the overall total points and points from each round for this prediction competition.

If you fail to send me your predictions before a result comes in, you will receive zero points for the completed match.

There will be no points awarded to a match with a bye.

I have created a topic here to not clog up this discussion thread :http://forum.strateg...edicting-power/

I don't want to interfere with this fantasy game. If it is similar, I will back off with the Predicting Power. You could just go ahead and let me know if it is similar or not?

Fantasy Stratego should be published tomorrow. Why don't you see what it is all about and then decide then if you still want to run a game?

Moreover: one of the youngest senior world champions ever facing someone half his age :)

And interesting is to guess how many points your team will cash in if you would not make any swap till the 10th round. Theoretical maximum points is 60x10=600...
If you don't know where you go ... you have a lot of chance to arrive elsewhere ...

It is lower than that because all your players cannot win every game. The actual cap is likely around 500.

This particular format is extremely hard to optimize because of the transfers. Even after the tournament it’s non-trivial to compute which team would have given the most points.

Right, so if I'm guessing that my team would win 51 games, have 3 draws and 46 losses it means their total score would be 361. Adding 10 swaps will cost me 30 points but if I do those we'll these swaps will allow me to exchange a loss for a win so a gain of 10x(6-3-1)=20. So my max should be 381.

Remember you Don't need to change your team all the time if you think it's working, so it could be a bit more
