It's good to see more Stratego activity anywhere on the world. I've always felt that the United States always have had a lot of potential Stratego-wise, hopefully this'll be the official start of a bright future for live Stratego (and the online NASF) in the US.

Of course, congrats to the winners and more importantly: I hope you guys have had a good time finally getting to meet each other in person. You guys keep it up, we may have a live WC in the US sometime. Congrats on a successful event.

https://gyazo.com/fd...d3e509afc040c8c These where the final standings. Some people had to leave during the tournament and aren't included in the final listing.

1 point was awarded a win.

.5 for a draw.

0 for a loss.

Ryan and I played a 1 game series tie breaker for the #1 spot since we where both undeafeted with 5 wins each after round 5.

(I will go over my games if I can remember them in another post) :)

Well done all for putting this together. If you keep this up, I might be able to join the tournament during one of my USA visits.

How come Ryan & Angel were not automatically paired in R4?

Euro tournaments usually have no prize money. Was this funded from the entry fees or did you get sponsor money?

The gift cards, game boards and venue space where sponsered by Playmonster as well as the board rewards. $500 and trophies was put up by the NASF.

Entry fees went in to buying the clocks and trophies but did not cover it all so the NASF put up the rest we will be using the clocks for future tournaments so this is an investment that we are tottaly cool with :)

Congratulations to Angel for the 1st place, as well as to the other medalists, Ryan and Gary! Very nice pics, I'm sure it was a very exciting tournament. Also, very sportmanlike from Ryan's side to propose to play one more game to determine the winner even though he could claim the 1st spot on m-buch.

Hi guys,

I have been looking at the Stratego World Ranking for quite some time now, because I am curious about the Chicago tournament results. Did anyone send them to Hermann Kleier?

Best regards,

Mark
