according to the rules ?

Regarding the above question: it was decided to have the rule abolished.

Afraid my vacation was too long and spanned an unlucky timeframe.

Any chance to still get in? Just checking.

We discussed it in the team. Late entries are accepted before the pairing of round 3, however you do not meet the video posting criteria for entry.

I only ask this for my own understanding. Rule 6.4 states that recording of WCO matches and posting publicly are strictly forbidden without approval by the opponent. Is this what you are referring to? How can this be so if sniper has never played a single wco match? If it is not so, please inform of what rule you are talking about.

During a partial rewrite / language clean up, it seems 6.4 (yes, that one) isn't carried over properly. The original is to be found here under 9.3

Is it Snipers fault that the rewrite did not include this and was not carried over properly?

Will you allow sniper a certain amount of time to comply considering he may have only just realized this breach in rules that were improperly posted?

Considering the post date of WCO 3 rules, no.

But Sniper did not sign up for wco3, only wco4. Wco4 had rules for wco4, wco3 had rules for wco3. According to sniper, he was not even an online tournament participating member until after the start of wco3. Tournament managers change and adapt rules to tournaments they are responsible for. Wco4 rules are different from the way wco3 rules are written. Again, if the wco managers overlooked and did not carry over the rule properly as YOU stated, how is that a new players fault? I believe the right thing to do is take responsibility for this yourselves and allow a player that may have not been informed properly of the rules to have a fair chance to oblige to your newly instructed disqualifications.

The rule carried over from WCO 3, exact language, but was recently altered (language change, which as it seems, also changed the intent, unintentionally  ). I trust this settles your question.

The rule carried over from WCO 3... was recently altered (language change, which as it seems, also changed the intent, unintentionally  ).

Exactly my point. This altering prevented sniper from properly understanding a knowledge that disqualified him from joining. In the court room, a judge and jury would favour sniper as he was improperly informed which means he was unable to know the standard In which would have qualified him. Being that this was not his fault for having a lack of knowledge, I don't see how it could be held against him. I see now you clearly don't want to see this fairly. It's apparent that your dislike for him will prevent a fair verdict on the case. My questions have been answered. Thank you for your....unbiased reply.

I think this is an insane rule applied to - Sniper - here, when it is about the OVERLORD game he published (AND removed within a day). Everyone can make a mistake (this one even was a misconception between the two players), but simply banning him for that tiny little thing is quite ridiculous.
