I played with me iPad, so i can just Show you a Screenshot from my Photoalbum with timestamp7XGIIX.jpgdac3Bk.jpg8JyXhQ.jpg8JyXhQ.jpg7V3ZmC.jpg
Double Posting now ? i thought the First Replay (fairy) was Not postet.
Please delete One of the two Postings :)

.

There is not proper evidence to rule in your favor here, ~SpyGirl~. Please see the evidence requirements at the bottom of any of my posts. We need two draw refusals 10 minutes apart plus the defeat screen. Also, please show the entire screen in your screenshots next time. This time you cut off the whole first rank in a few of them.

smu_qa did indeed quote me. You lose, Fairway. :)

But credit to smu_qa as he did do a bit of research to find it. The post had been shuffled off to the archives recently and definitely not in plain sight. His mis-quoting is due to the fact that the 2017 archive is messed up with its topic moderation and not even I can quote that post correctly today. No posts there are quotable. We've asked about fixing this problem for both 2015 and 2017 but no luck yet. For some reason it's only a problem with those two archives. You can quote from any other ones.

Thanks for sorting out the quoting issue, Gary. What's the verdict on this Davidjohnson6388 guy? Wasn't he permanently banned a long time ago? Can my points be restored for his draw refusal, or do you need a full case submitted first? He's a loser who shuffles endlessly and won't accept any draw requests or progress the game.

smu_qa, it is being discussed within the MT. If you post a defeat screen in this topic, it will be automatic if he is PB'd along with the others in his name group.

Not regarding this specific case. I shuffle sometimes just for the sake of varying up my play and people will offer draws 2 minutes in to the game because "They aren't down" to play against a shuffler. That's not a draw refusal at all it is you not wanting to play.

You could very well be right, Fks, except for the case if an opponent is, or soon may be, PB'd. If anyone wants to refuse to play a PB'd player, he can quit immediately and show us a defeat screen and get points restored.

If someone is asking for a draw after 2 minutes the opponent can't just shuffle indefinitely.

Fairy33a, as you can see, any form of common sense on here is not accepted by the Moron Team (also known as MT). If you don't perfectly abide by the draw refusal rules, even though a 6 year old could probably see this is a clear draw, justice won't be done.

Luckily, recently a group, also known as the "Forum Union" ( http://forum.strateg...-2018/?p=444640 ) has been formed and is, I assume, more than willing to aid you in your case against this injustice by MT & your opponent.

I want to report user Zarkhah1 for draw refusal. Both no miners, both flags bombed. All the bombs were known. I had only a general. He has general, colonel en a major. All pieces ar known. He kept on chasing my general with his general and refuse draw twice.

I warned him twice in chat, no response. Finally I resigned. See pictures.

Thanks for checking.

Dear Nortrom,

As you are aware there are rules established to handle draw refusal cases and abusive language cases. The MT is referring to these rules in order to be impartial and ensure equal treatment for equal fault. So if a case is judged as not having enough evidence then no case is the only right impartial verdict. Whether there is obvious draw for a 6 years old child or not is not the point if the evidence required by the rules is missing.

Secondly, calling somebody a moron is clearly violating the rules on abusive behaviour. Several players have already got punishment due to that insult and you should be liable for the same. Furthermore this is a totally unacceptable tone as coming from a great and famous player like you, a childish behaviour, which is not at all a good model in particular for the youngest forum members who might be reading it. We expect from a WCO team member some other type of behaviour. Because the MT cannot be judge and party on this case we will exceptionnally not vote on a verdict now but we will be extremely cautious on any future claim for abusive bahaviour that may be raised against you and will judge it with the utmost severity.

The MT: Napoleon 1er, Lonello, GaryLShelton, tobermoryx, and Major Nelson

The FU (forum union) votes for 125.7 ELO points being restored to fairy33a and their opponent sebp be forced to listen to the 'Mr Blobby song' on endless repeat for 3 hours. Sebp will also receive a 1 week ban from the internet.

Unfortunately, I was not aware of the possibility that MT would even be remotely interested in enforcing standing (forum) policies. Indeed, rules are there for draw refusal cases / abusive language cases, but you know very well those are not the only rules written as per http://forum.strateg...rum-rules-2016/ . I must admit that I am surprised that once more, MT is very selective when it comes down to enforcement. "he MT is referring to these rules in order to be impartial and ensure equal treatment for equal fault" This is a blatant lie. Not even remotely close to truth. There are lots of "faults" on the forum and MT is being very selective about which "faults" are taken care of and which aren't. You guys are awesome.

Correct me if I am wrong, but one of MT members clearly stated to me that "this isn't a childs site", can you explain to me why suddenly MT cares about what younger ones on here are to face? Why are you making an issue out of the word "moron", but did not start out crying when being compared to "nazi's" recently?

"Moron" was coined in 1910 by psychologist Henry H. Goddard[3] from the Ancient Greek word μωρός (moros), which meant "dull"[4] and used to describe a person with a mental age in adulthood of between 8 and 12 on the Binet scale.[5] It was once applied to people with an IQ of 51–70, being superior in one degree to "imbecile" (IQ of 26–50) and superior in two degrees to "idiot" (IQ of 0–25). The word moron, along with others including, "idiotic", "imbecilic", "stupid", and "feeble-minded", was formerly considered a valid descriptor in the psychological community, but it is now deprecated in use by psychologists.[6]

I must admit that when looking at Goddard's theory, the term "Moron" was missused for MT. Can you explain why it is that being compared to people who were partly responsible for millions of casualties back in the times does not upset you?

By your extreme high moral standards one would expect this to be considered an attack/insult based on appearance(breach of rules? ). Luckily there is no favoritism at hand and you (napoleon in this case) finds it funny to make a joking comment about it.

I did resign from the MT yesterday but after much discussion with the other MT members I was persuaded to stay.
About Fks' poor selection of profile picture, a pm was sent to him by the MT asking him to remove it almost immediately after Ouwesok pointed it out, so I can assure you that although Napoleon 1er did make a joke about it the MT did not take this insult to you lightly.

I honestly don't care if he wanted to use the avatar. Why was a PM sent to him to take it down when no complaints were made? I found it a bit distasteful, but had no problems with it. Can you tell me which rule was broken? and while at it, also explain why OS's post, despite being seen by several MT members, was not taken down? ( I personally laughed at it anyway, but it does count as an insult ). Why would a mod (napoleon) make a joke about it while his colleague says "the MT did not take this insult to you lightly". This is a clear bogus statement.

"Did not take lightly" would, when dealing with (semi)serious people, imply:

1. Hide/Remove post

2. Inform offender about it

3. Discuss warning point

Here it's:

1. Notice it

2. Do nothing

3. Make a joke comment about it

4. Do nothing

5. Say "It was not taken lightly"

6. Let the post remain

7. To be added later

Again, I don't care about OS's post, but I am sick of the high level of hypocrisy displayed. It just once more shows why OS fully deserved the challenged middlefinger award.

Maybe the position of moderator should be an elected one with a set term. Having the committee change or be re-approved from time to time might be best for everyone.
