Hey guys!

I seem to be the last person on earth not to get the message that we have 2018 now... I was wondering the whole time why there is no case opened :D So here we go again (original message from january second):

I have an obvious case of a draw refusal here. Just look at the screenshot, I'd love to get my points back and Lady Knight punished.

A case is opened .

The FU (the Forum Union) finds Cm28  incredibly guilty.

 Unladen Swallow motions for drawing and quartering

 Fks motions for New York style Street Justice

 KMC motions that Cm28  be immobilized in a chair, eyes propped open, and that he be subjected to

watching "Keeping Up with the Trashdashians" over, and over, and over again . . .

*2000 ELO points will be restored to Tobermoryx's account pending admin activity, and an additional 3000 ELO points are to be entered into the Tobermoryx and Napoleon's Clean Ranking

*This is really going to piss off Hielco!

Wow, this must be one of the most cruel penalties applied I have ever seen.

MT wishes to inform FU that draw refusal rules are the same against any player, there will be no favoritism when against a MT member, it may even be harsher. Nevertheless we take good note of your KMC motion which seems to have already encountered substantial acceptance among forum community if we look at the likes obtained. MT appreciates such self initiatives and proposals from FU and suggests this shall be thoroughly discussed  in a face to face meeting which could be held in the 2 marshalls bar shortly.

Cut and dry draw refusal from 1.Disconnector.

.

The MT agrees and votes a first degree draw refusal against 1.Disconnector. Pending administrative action, he will have 113 points deducted for refusing a valid draw and he will receive a warning letter. 122333444555 will get 13 points for the draw.

Lol, why on earth would anyone deny a clear draw at QA, you don't even get/lose points.
Winning isn 't everything, but wanting to win is.

I suppose it would be to get a message to the offender who holds the account–even if the dude is not on the forum, he will receive an email with a warning should he be found guilty by the MT.

Also, if the experience is frustrating enough, reporting it to the MT may serve as a kind of catharsis. So, why not report it?  :)

P.S. This is to clarify that this is not an attack on the Major's post by any stretch of the imagination–keep reading and you will see that I had misunderstood which person he was asking about (I thought he was asking why U.S. would post the complaint as no points were to be gained) and I thank him and HD for clarifying my misunderstanding.

Josh did well to report the incident, I was basically wondering why his opponent would deny a draw when he does not actually gain something from winning the game instead of drawing.

Ah, I understand your comment now. Thank you, and HD for clarifying.

For that reason, the few things that make sense is that:

1) The person wanted to make trouble enough to get Unladen Swallow to surrender

2) The person was just being a total jerk because they are a jerk

3) The person making the trouble didn't understand the rules, but this is very unlikely

4) The person is foolish enough to want to aggravate their opponent given the chance  :o

5) The person is stupid, mentally unstable, a trouble maker, and a complete waste of space
