...mathematically speaking there is still the possibility that all top 8 players get 2x0 points for there last games because they would neither provide any availabilities for game arrangement nor pop up at the default time on last sunday and so some other players who would get 2 wins could win wco... but i admit this is highly unlikely...😀

During the previous round there were 8 potential champions, now as we proceed to the 10th and final round, only 4 potential champions remain. KARAISKAKIS, Nortrom, Hielco, Napoleon 1er, Aris1970, gkaros, Master Mind and playa1

When we look at their roads so far:

In online tournaments these two players have not yet faced off against each other, however, in live play the score currently is 1:1. Will it be Master Mind, who takes the victory and will be hoping for a draw between Napoleon and Karaiskakis? or will it be Nortrom taking the WCO title home.

Napoleon 1er ch.jpg vs. KARAISKAKIS gr.jpg

Record shows that these two players have faced off three times in online tournaments, Napoleon leading the score 2 to 1, however, KARAISKAKIS won the last game between these two. We're curious to find out the result between these two :).

Nortrom and I just played a fantastic battle to a draw. Nortrom actually proposed a draw earlier in the game, but I really had to win to get a place in the top #3, so I refused at first, although it in the end actually turned out to be a draw anyways with a captain vs a sergeant. It was a great game, adding up to all the other great games I've played in this tournament. I want to thank everyone, especially the organisers that made this fantastic event possible!

Congrats Nortrom. If I am not mistaken, this championship makes you the only person to have won every tournamnet at least once. That to me is the bigger accomplishment.

After almost 1hour and half game and 1092 moves I lost a game and the silver medal  because my mouse decided to move the major left instead up (obvious misclick)

I feel very disappointed  because i have had a great tournament and I deserved to win this game where in the final stage it was a game with major captain miner and sergeant against a sergeant and a known scout.

In online stratego except to be good you need to have enough luck with your mouse to avoid misclicks

2 misslicks gave the medals in this tournament
Not a great way to finish the wco
An onther advantage of live stratego
But karaiskakis even if you lost the major you are again in a clear winning position

People never accidentally throw over pieces in live stratego?
