Dear players,

The WCO Team has removed player 'Yangus' from the WCO for breaking the following rules:

2. Missbehaving due to not reporting a lost match and falsely claiming a loss by timeout for the opponent (breaks rule 7.3).
3. Letting the clock run down (breaks rule 7.4).
4. Accusing the opponent of letting the buffer time run down without any evidence to back up such claims (breaks rule 7.4)
5. (Attempt of)Scouting the opponent beforehand on alias account (breaks rule 7.3 simulation rule).
6. (Attempt of)Scouting the opponent beforehand on alias account (unsporting behaviour / cheating)

7. Many cases being submitted against this player in previous WCO's

Please be reminded that the WCO team strives to create and maintain a competitive, enjoyable and fair playing environment. Any severe cases of wrongdoing will be judged accordingly.

The WCO currently handles about 34 games per playing round. The chance to have something go wrong in so many games are high. This is why the rules have a disputes section: section 6.

All disputes regarding WCO games are handled by contacting either the WCO team in the relevant thread or if confidential information is involved, by sending a new private message to all arbiters of the WCO team.

Organizer / referee - Persons who are responsible for the organization aswell as any rulings or / and decisions
Team, the team, WC team, tournament team, etc.. - The three organizing persons ( KARAISKAKIS, Morx and Nortrom )

The WCO team will be deemed  the first place to handle all WCO related disputes and decides on measures such as warnings, time punishments, judging games etcetera. The WCO team will decide if any other Stratego bodies should be informed in case of specific escalations.

If there are any question about this, you can always contact us.

Morx

To all WCO3 players:

Recently we have quite a number of games that are not properly scheduled.

Can everyone follow the procedure as

1 Player A posts times,

2 Player B selects a time by stating this in the thread

3 Player A confirms this time in the thread

4 Play the game on agreed time

It doesnt matter who is player A or B in this procedure.

Kind regards,

Morx

@ Gpet0

For some reason, while trying to make the PM between you and your 8th round opponent, I got the following error: Can you send me a PM to see if that works?

The following errors were found

The following users cannot use the messaging system: gpet0

This personal message has not been sent

I believe it gives a different error if so, something among the lines of "reached maximum PMs" but I am not 100% sure about it.

I have received this error a lot recently, even from people who have unlimited PM space like MT. Not sure what the problem is (helpful)

I would copy/paste the mail convo with gpet0, but since this will just be removed by MT, I can hereby confirm that the issue has been resolved after gpet0 removed some old PMs.

The problem is exactly what's said above.

from people who have unlimited PM space like MT.

There is no such thing. Gary had too many PM's laying around, so he walked into the same problem. Then I indeed asked Admin to give us more space, and they upgraded us. So MT should be fine now.

In the game between KARAISKAKIS and Aris1970,  Aris1970 has received a yellow card for continuing to drag on a dispute that was already handled, in line with rule 7.1 of the WCO.
