Correct - neither two will be allowed to play before making the declaration (MONJE and hondjekapitein).

The Alias Register is in a sense an amnesty. Players can choose to declare an account (and continue using it) or not declare it (and instead delete it).

Any player who is found to play a game on an undisclosed account is therefore in breach. So if a player who has signed up to this tournament has played a game (since the declaration) on an account not in this Alias Register then that would be a serious offence.

Hope this clarifies.

Players can choose to flout obligations at their own risk. TC is aware that the Alias Register will not end aliases - we are not under the illusion that there is any solution. However at least now the practice is outlawed whereas previously it was not.

Hielco has completed the Alias Register (although it appears to be deleted - we will see if we can restore that post)

Well to avoid misunderstandings i would propose that you either restore that post or he could simply make another one. Until then he should not be allowed to participate either.

NP TheO,

one last observation, it does not appear nice for players to post via representatives. I doubt they have no time to post what is needed especially when i see them on line. Just saying...

don mitsos - TC posted the answer that Hielco gave online - there is no technical difference - he is bound to the Alias Register like any other tournament participant.

Is there going to be betting?

If so I think odds should be published for getting out of group stage BEFORE groups are known!

They could be changed after groups are known for those less daring.

scottrussia,

Unfortunately we don't have time to run a betting competition this time around. Although rumour has it that one will be available for the Pyramid League.

Some circumstances do not allow me to participate to the ch.l., I want to be out of this.

To confirm, Major Nelson has reversed this decision.

Is there going to be a table that shows the results, like on Challonge.com (I can't remember the exact website name)?

How may I withdraw from this tournament? Unfortunately I lack the time to participate fully.
