Our updated line:

               Next match:

King Fairway vs LuckyPapa

Good  skill to both of you!

Rules:
1. To get in line and challenge the current king, simply request to be put in line

2. You can play as often as you want, but when you post, you're put at the end of the list

3. No king can be challenged by the same person twice during his reign. If someone is in line next      and has already challenged the king during his reign, the next person in line is up and so on until    a challenger has not challenged the king during his reign.

4. When you're making an agreement, you should work with time-zone GMT

5. You play 3 games. The winner of 2 or 3 games, is the new king

6. When the game resulted in a draw, a fourth game needs to be played and so on until a winner         is determined.

7. Try to play your games in a reasonable time period or strict rules will have to be enforced that no     body wants!

May you all have the will to win,
Arena Management

Master Mind, you'll have to keep a list of who's next. This could get crazy with such short games. Are you giving the Duke of Leon the first nod as challenger?

Nice effort, MM. 😊

I'd offer my two cents to say to keep it simple. If this is to be themed like "king of the day", then I'd say it should be one king, one list, and no points. Keep it moving. The transient "king" will risk his title with each battle and that's all. Should the king get dethroned with a tie? Also interesting. I'd vote he has to actually lose, to lose his crown. But that could go either way, I guess. Ultimately, it's your thread, your rules, MM, though it would be nice to hear other input and remain flexible enough to change later, I think.

Is that two cents or four cents now? 😃

Unfortunately, Duke of Leon, didn't come online...

No, that's impossible for me. I can play tomorrow 16:00-20:00 GMT, and Wednesday 15:00-20:00.

I misunderstood the time. I thought it would be 3pm Mountain Time. Sorry... What I meant by best 2 out of 3 is the first person to win two rounds wins the match. If I were to win the first round and you win the second we would play a 3rd time to decide the winner of the match. Once again sorry about the confusion about the time zones.

Duke of Leon, what everyone always uses here as a rule is the GMT time. I'm GMT-6 in the central time zone, for example. You are mountain time USA so that's GMT-7. So 15:00 GMT would have meant 8:00 am for you.

It's best if this is specified, of course, and next time everyone knows better, but in the meantime.... :-(

MM, I know it's another rule (darned extra rules, lol! 😅 ) but maybe you'd better state in the rules for everyone to use GMT! And what happens when a date is missed.

I'll be on 18:30 GMT today.

I definitely like your idea, to play 3 matches, because you get more chances.

@sevenseas
I can play today after I've played Duke of Leon, so I can play around 19:00 GMT

P.S. Carefully read the edited rules ;)
