Go tell your boss that he is a prick. You are entitled to that opinion but there will be consequences. Just like everyone in this thread is free to curse at their opponent but will face administrative repercussions.
This seems a bit of semantical hashing, Gwynplaine. And I might add it flies in the face of the roughly approximately 10.7 gazillion times in the history of the earth that it has been commonly said by English speakers everywhere that "You are entitled to your opinion; I, to mine."
Of course, defending one's position may be needful at times, and so being able to do so may be advisable, but it's not an absolute requirement for having and holding an opinion. Many people don't like debate. I bet they still have opinions....
On this Christmas Day I am reminded that we are all called by scripture to be ready to give the reason for the hope that is within us. Many will be better at that than others.
