Glad to see the committee is finding capable new members.

On an unrelated note, will the NASF be instituting the same alias register that the TC has?

The NASF Committee welcomes njphillips12 as the newest member of our leadership team.  Njphillips has already made a big contribution in his very first week on the job, writing the announcement for the World Team Tournament, which you can read here:  http://forum.strateg...nt/#entry433619   Njphillips, we look forward to working with you and are very happy you are willing to volunteer your time and skills to help promote our Stratego federation.

Sincerely,

Wogomite, steelers, The Prof, and queenbee1

I think what I am proud of is the team that made it to the World Team Event. Maybe next year I will compete, but I want to wish everyone a very good tournament and let's take home the title this year. Gary thanks for your perseverance in getting us all our colors.

It has been a year since the NASF hosted a tournament open to all of its members, is this group dead?

Guys, the Prof is going to be absent from any heavy lifting at the site for quite awhile. If there is to be any new NASF tournament, don't plan on waiting for him. The remaining members of the NASF (Wogomite, steelers, and queenbee1) should probably reassess the committee and decide whether they wish to hold another tournament and when. If no tournament is in the works, I think we all need to face the hard questions about the state of the NASF right now.

Correction Gary,
queenbee decided to step down some time ago and Njphillips has also joined our ranks as a committee member.

Attention: We all are aware of lacking dedication by the committee (myself including) and would be more than happy to hear requests or passionate volunteers to help pick up where the irreplaceable TheProf has left off. Thank you Prof for all of your hard work! The nasf would not have gotten to where it has without you.

To anyone interested in future nasf endeavors, message any committee member by pm or suggest your proposals publicly. Thank you.

Okay, thanks, Wogomite. I was going by The Prof's most recent post in this thread and the names at the bottom of that post. I do see where njphillips12 was later added, though.

To recap then, queenbee1 holds the TC title and blue colors through special arrangement which originally included NASF duties. But you say that she dropped out of the NASF. steelers also is titled and colored TC blue and by a special arrangement with NASF duties as well. Is he still with you in the NASF? Only you, Wogomite, and njphillips12, and The Prof show the purple color and title of the NASF. Have I got all this correct?

Thank you for sending out the request for new blood in the NASF, Wogomite. :)

I'd like to echo what Wogomite said, that if anyone wants to get into the NASF in a leadership role, please let Wogomite know either publicly here, or via pm.

Steelers has never showed the desire to leave the nasf committee so he is still with us.

Fks has reached out to me with a willingness to help. Is anyone else interested in helping keep the nasf progressing forward?
Anyone with experience in computer technology as theprof and astros is would be a huge asset to the committee. Malcom Jansen seems to be very well read in this topic. Would him or anyone else with similar skills be willing to help?

The NASF definitely needs restructure. From what I understand the Prof is unable to be a committee member any longer, and NJphillips12 is also inactive for nearly 3 months, I have not seen him in the game either. I think he is busy with other things.

Steelers is a TC Manager, not NASF unless I understand wrongly.

QB as Gary stated has stepped down and became a member of TC as well.

That leaves Wogomite as the only active and capable committee member unless I am mistaken.

Who else would be interested? I am only a member on the NASF and not interested in committee as I am already a Junior Tournament Manager.

I think that a thread needs to be posted of who would be interested to become a member of committee. The NASF needs to get back up on its feet and host a tournament or two. Perhaps a PM message can be shared by those remaining who are close to NASF's creation or management to discuss what its future should be.
