I always send a msg via battlechat at the start of every game to my rival 'Good luck'

-

Some of them types too some of them not typing. But i think it will be better if there is a 'seen' information message from server.

If I know what you mean, (which I'm not sure I do  :D), this already exists. When someone battlechats you, a red circle pops up on the right upper corner of the battlechat box with the number of unread battlechats your opponent has sent you. I'm not sure I know exactly what you are talking about, so please forgive me if this has nothing to do with your topic. Sorry!

I'm always a winner- win or lose the game. I take my mistakes and learn from them!

You mean like something to tell you if the opponent has read your message? That would be good if that existed.

I know some people in ranked matches most likely don't read the chat at all, so seeing who does would be an interesting idea.

Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick, but that would be something I'd like. =)

For the read part, I don't think that exists. If they reply, that does exist. See my above post.

Well, you know they've seen that you've sent a message by the number counter going up. Whether they choose to open the chat and actually read the posts is another matter. About all that could possibly exist is the ability to see if they opened the chat. Nothing can tell whether they've actually read it except their response.

So I don't think you should sweat it that much. If you don't hear anything from them, they're not the chatty type. That's all that is for sure. They might not speak English either. It's hard to say. But the fact that some talk and some don't makes me appreciate the good conversations that do occur from time to time. 😊

Gary, Fairway..

-

My english is average. Sometimes maybe i cannot define my things exactly, but fariway's second thing what i mean. I believe some gamers have no attention battle chat messages. Some of them are not gentle to reply.

Yes it is the "twitter-2nd vinkje" you mean, yes I know, if you see my game against the other Mod, Napoleon, you'll see me chatting all the time but he never responds lol (he taped the game and made a video). After the game I asked him if he had read it. Because you are right. You can't see that! But he said he had been too preoccupied with the game... obsessed... that he couldn't reply, lol. You apparantly have that effect on people too ;).

LOL .... yes watch this video as it can teach many things ... not only it will show that i effectively didn't see that chat until late so i'm absolutely forgivable ... but it will also teach you what a double chase is, something that is forbidden by isf rules but not implemented on stratego.com. as you can see even Mods abuses this double chase .... but it was all fun ... i'm sure Lo did that only with the purpose of teaching something to the public not intentionnally, right Lo? ...just kiddingβœŒβœŒβœŒπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

If you don't know where you go ... you have a lot of chance to arrive elsewhere ...

Yes, I was making a point there as this chase thing is the #1 we've been after with Admin for years... I was waiting for your chat there and ofcourse would've stopped the chase.
