Please add this to the official rules. Another player double chasing me today, dairou, it's bad sportsmanship

I play as Sevenseas & Don't Cry

dairou is an alias for trickz, who goes way back on record (to probably 2012 here) as staunchly defending double chasing.

Dairou has a foul mouth and does many unsportmanslike things like taunting his opponents, and the admins are defending him? Double chasing is against the more squares rule in official play and should be stopped.

Gentleben, I hope you're not referring to my comment with the remark about defending dairou/trickz. There was no defense of the man in what I said. I was merely giving a factual bit of information to convey the reality of his identity and playing preference as regards double chasing. There was absolutely no position taken in my words there.

In truth, my opinion on double chasing is that it needs to be blocked and solidly so with the new SMT (Square Moved To) approach as opposed to the ISF's use of RBP (Repeated Board Position). This new approach to blocking useless moves that The Prof and I developed last year, that we call SMT, is at worst equal to, and most of the time more efficient than the current ISF blocking tool of RBP. So I am categorically not defending dairou in that previous post. I hold to just the opposite feeling, as you do, and even more so if you want merely the current ISF Article 11.1 "More Squares Rule".
