I think a nice, handy feature that would no doubt be easy to implement would be polls in the forums. Like proper ones that show at the top of the thread, with percentages and stuff, instead of having to scroll through all posts and see what people have written.

A forum board I used to run had that feature of polls.  It would be a nice idea instead of hmmness or other players having to physically scan posts to put down players names on who voted what.  I would also like to think that if a player wants to vote on X idea, they don't have to reveal themselves if they chose not too.

polls are very interesting.
It's also handy for the dev's.
They can make a poll each week for a certain problem or so and based on the results, they immediately know how the majority of the players think and they can anticipate on that.
It's the ultimate feedback for the dev's.
