This inactive account, Sinus, had been at the top for a mighty long time. Suddenly, it takes such a coincidental pairing with such a coincidental loss on Sinus' part to lose to a, no less, fellow French flag to a new championship leader Pd3a (with an unbeaten record).

Life, is so amazing sometimes.

Ahah so the scandal widens. Pd3a=Sinus=Lonello
Probable, but not convincing

I also heard Sinus=Sohal. Any disagreement?
The rankings are rigged here. I can beat anyone here. It's, just not worth my time

I probably didn't get your point. I said

But apparantly you make some kind of comparison with Pd3a and Sinus I don't get.

If this is an inactive account (Sinus), it's indeed funny how it can end up with 599 points.

Don't know what it'll bring him though. I've never seen people cheering for bronze boards.

Napoleon only makes board for Silver so no one is really interested in the bronze (except for my comment, lol)?!

You can't put it this way. The Bronze League is important for beginners and newcomers to the game. Rankings are equally important.
You are a good player Lonello. You won't need to do this.

But if someone ever stood up as a beacon of morality, and is directly or indirectly intentionally involved with Pd3a rise to the top, then don't make me puke.
Reminds me of a waterfall thread

Nothing beats a top ranker supported by multiple second third fourth accounts, oh, and maybe the main account???!!!

Before Sinus it was this Werner chap who vanished from the face of Earth overnight. Now Sinus was sitting there right at the top, inactive for perhaps close to half a year, with a 335win-19loss record. And now you have it.
There should be a way to track players opponent history.

You are right : sohal (main account) = cosinus = sinus = pd3a

It usually takes hours to be paired when you are a 900 ELO player.
And when you get an opponent he usually just run in a lotto game.
That's why i created pd3a.
I just reached 599 points so i will stand there untill they do a better ranking system.
I already asked a few times about those improvments :
- don't allow aliases
- removed player who have not played 2 games in the last month from rankings

I wouldn't wait for improvements: you could play a tourney. I'm now only meeting up with the big guns of 900+. No lotto's so far and sportmanslike games.

I play hielco, ruben, sadi and others greats players at gravon.

You say a lot. I do not agree with getting all those aliases just to avoid waiting long to be paired. I don't understand why you don't play tourneys. I've played Hielco multiple times in tourneys (and only in tourneys) and Ruben is my teammate so obviously I have plenty of tourney gametime with him too.

Playing tourney here is not fun :
- no ranked game
- not viewable for the communauty
- have to make screenshot again
- etc

OK now I agree with most of what you say. But playing unranked can also be a requisit on Gravon.

Indeed as you say it would be great for the games to be viewable to the community and to stop the fuss about screenshots, I've said this to TC personally as well. This has improved now! If not contested (and it never is) TC accepts a simple acknowledgment from the defeated player, and maybe even that is not necessary anymore in the current tourney.

You're a top player, so you should be playing in at least 1 tournament per year.  Participating in the tournaments also eliminates the problem of being paired against weaker opponents, since the overall level of players is much higher.

Having aliases is a useful tactic to experiment with various setups. Plus, why lose so many points on your main account owing to disconnections?

There is no need for alias accounts.  Experiment with new setups using a single account (play unranked if you're worried about losing "points").  Failure to reveal oneself to a known opponent is the same as cheating.
