waterfall, i was talking to manning as that happened.  1st off you are not a good player, all u did was marshal rush which is basically lottoing down one side.  U were only up an 8, manning disconnected due to a computer problem, lol he was complaining about it as it happened.  So dont feel so high on yourself.

You yourself can send an invite to friendship to anyone on the site through the social hub and invite friends.  But you'd better learn some spelling and grammar if you want to promote yourself as a teacher.  A few good manners sprinkled with some humility wouldn't be a bad idea while you're at it.

ditto on the brown nosing gayus remark. Certainly all run off when a surprise loss comes. No one but Gary is the perfect gentleman.

Why, thank you, old buddy, though I'm sure there are many others. But tell me. If it takes one to know one, how did you recognize that fact?

lol I dont need to brown nose anyone, I can hold my own just fine.  Just get tired of low ranked tools whose only skill is lotting, and then they want to be cool and post the disconnect.  Id disconnect too if someone just ran through all my pieces with no skill.

80% win ratio isn't bad at all, so he must have some skill.

80% lol I was 25-2 my first 27 games, having a good ratio is not hard at a low rank......

I nominate Domturn to the Hall.

He blew up a major on a bomb behind my spy and did the disconnect immediately.

This happens in about 1 of every 5 games I've won. All, the, time. I don't see how to deal with it other than hate the Internet; in my opinion the clocks are about right. What really grinds my gears are the ones who drown out 4:30 of buffer then come back to see if you bailed. Shrug.

I'd love a digital spitball to fire at ragequitters. Rockstar does something like this with an automated "bad sport" accounting in GTAV. Doubt there's any way make anything like that work here without admins going more bananas than they surely already are, but it would be interesting if I could know in advance I'm playing someone with a potential history of spotty sportsmanship...

sirgeicoad, you are so right.  They hang around to see if you bailed.  This is nothing less than a cheating loophole.  I like the chop about the digital spitball.   :D

Add GeneralBauer23 to the list. Didn't want to surrender or let me track him down with my two piece a advantage.

ON THIS DISCONNECT HE CAME BACK TO PLAYING WITH ONLY A FEW SECONDS LEFT AND MOVED A PIECE!!!

HE WAS HOPING TO CATCH ME OFF GUARD AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION. THAT WAS A CHEATING MOVE IF THERE EVER WAS ONE!

Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot of his returning.

Not only is it good to continue to pay attention if your opponent disconnects.  It's also good to assume he is going to come back, remind yourself where his revealed pieces are and what has moved, and plan your next moves.  Keep you mind on the game.  This way you'll never be caught off guard by a returning disconnecter.  Remember, it's not over until you get that "Victory" screen.

It would be nice if an audible sound accompanied the return of a disconnected player. But come to think of it, I usually have my sound turned down for my p and q, and did for the above occasion as well. Next time I'll have to turn it back up when someone disconnects on me.

For sound wise, if your challenger leaves the game, you should hear them make their next move if they return.  If they left during your own move, then you need to keep track of the game more closely.

After lottoing his major on a bomb and being down a colonel and cappy, Daninho decided to disconnect as his lone major was trapped. Really a nice guy!!

I have the number one member of the Online Stratego Hall of Shame.  I present to you: ShadyMilkman.  He was a Silver Scout who clearly was mad I was going to win and I had his last guy trapped in the corner. He only not left the game 5-6 times before his buffer timer was close to running out as was his leave game timer was gone too, ran out he tried to glitch me asking for pauses and ties even though we fixed that bug.

Congratulates ShadyMilkman may you hold this honor of being a man with no honor and full of shame.
