As someone who has been around the site long enough to experience the best and worst of astros, I support the decision.

I believe the wco has a team of well experienced organizers. I'm excited to see them in action this year.

To add on to Major Nelson, Astros has also been a crucial past committee member of the NASF. He is someone who wont hold any regard with players past, to achieve what needs to be done. Very grateful he is willing to help out the WCO. Looking forward to an amazing WCO experience!

It is true that astros has received criticism in the past for several issues (e.g. the fact that he played with malcom.jansen and hadn't revealed his identity, his behaviour against certain players). Yet, from a professional point of view, he has provided good suggestions and support in the organisation of the WTT, organises the A.S.S. and also has TC experience. Taking these into account, he could be an asset to the WCO team.

I'm very disappointed to see such an accredited irresponsible  personality to become WCO member. Not only for the cheat he clearly made with his accounts. I can't also accept the mindless comments he made against me,without reason,in order to gain the favor of other players and at the same time to make a false image of myself. Please keep the community healthy. It's a matter of responsibility towards the players.

The WCO Team was satisfied with the explanation provided by astros for not disclosing his past account. We believe astros will be a valuable asset to the team. During several discussions on the forum, astros has managed to stay composed and provide an unbiased and fair opinion.

As the WCO, we like to give opportunities to everyone. When OverLord was banned from TC tournaments, we did not enforce his suspension. We acknowledge that some players may feel disadvantaged when they played against MJ / astros. Again, we'd rather look forward. One of the things for this year, will be the enforcement of the alias register to ensure a fair competition for everyone.

The fact that you didn't violate any tournament rule is secondary.

What it's the most important is that the players of WCO3 didn't know their true opponent.

Nevertheless, you played as malcom jansen and you never said that you are astros. You were acting like you are a new player and you fool everyone. This is unfair and cheating. This situation should have been treated with another way, instead of become a member of WCO team.

There were personal, non-game-related reasons that motivated my decision to delete my old accounts and play under an assumed identity. I did not violate any tournament rules and completed the Alias Register at the time of registration. I have discussed the specifics of my decision with the other committee members and they are comfortable with me serving as an organizer.

Greetings from Athens.
I have my objections to the inclusion of astros in the committee. He may become a valuable member of the new committee, but we must not forget that in the WCO3 he played with a fake account (malcom jansen).

Dear players,

The WCO team has evolved. It welcomes two new members:

- astros
- TheOptician

Next tasks will be to determine the terms and conditions of the upcoming WCO 2018/2019 also taking into account the feedback from the survey and then the signup period will start. Things are looking good for the alias register fans :).
